Orientation
We are committed to ensuring that all new employees receive the appropriate learning & development from their first day! A 1 day Orientation course is held regularly in each capital city across Australia and New Zealand (for remote locations orientation is on the job). This is followed up with a 7 week induction plan carried out in store, supported by your Manager and your regional Retail Trainer.
Your Orientation will cover everything from Freedoms' values, sales expectations, and training on our in-house computer system
Management Operational Development
Management Operational Development is a training program for people moving into management positions and new Freedom Managers. The key learning areas for management development are task and operationally driven, it's about understanding the nuts and bolts of the business to ensure the compliant and smooth running of your department.
Leadership Development
Leadership Development is a program that provides our current managers with the foundation concepts to become excellent leaders. The program evolves each year and is driven by the needs of our Managers.
Traineeships (AU)
All eligible employees are given the opportunity to participate in a Traineeship whilst undertaking employment. A commitment is required by the employee to work towards to the completion of a qualification and in return they obtain a nationally recognised qualification that is portable.
External Studies
We encourage applications to undertake external training courses that are relevant to personal growth and specific job function. External Study Assistance and study leave is available for approved employees who wish to participate in higher level qualifications.
Compliance Programs
Compliance training is offered to all staff who are responsible for areas of risk in our company, including the Trade Practices Act, Privacy Act, Loss Prevention and Occupational Health and Safety.
